I’ve come across some excellent articles this week that are all worth a read. Having said that, if you only read one, read the first one.

“What Should Students Know and Be Able to Do?”

This is an excellent article that addresses the issue of content versus skills and the dilemma teachers have. We believe that it doesn’t have to be either or, you can do both without driving yourself crazy.

A Web 2.0 Class: Students Learn 21st Century Skills, Collaboration, and Digital Citizenship

This article talks about the role of the teacher in today’s schools, technology and how it can be used to teach critical thinking. Great stuff and right up our alley.

Change Agent

This one talks about the need for teachers to “get with it” regarding technology. The winds of change are blowing and teachers need to set sail.
